Baseball Card Collector & Hobby Expert
That’s Frank DeBlasi
How My Collecting Journey Began
Baseball cards have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. From tearing that first pack and getting a whiff of that bubble gum, to completing my first set, 1980 Topps.
My collecting journey began in childhood, ripping open packs with wide-eyed excitement and carefully sorting cards into shoeboxes and binders. What started as a simple hobby quickly became something much bigger: a connection to the game, its history, and the players who shaped baseball across generations. Those early years didn’t just build my collection — they built my love for baseball itself.
This site is my way of giving back to the hobby that’s given me so much.

Baseball Cards and My Bond with My Father
Even more meaningful, baseball cards became a bridge between my father and me. Some of my best memories growing up are sitting together, talking baseball, organizing cards, watching games side by side, and him coaching my little league team. The hobby gave us a shared language and a lifelong bond — something far more valuable than any card in a case.
Experience, Knowledge, and Passion for the Hobby
Over the decades, my passion evolved into deep knowledge and experience across nearly every corner of the hobby — vintage and modern cards, rookies, grading, sets, collecting strategies, and hobby history. I’ve seen trends come and go, lived through the booms and busts, and stayed in it for one simple reason: I genuinely love this hobby and the people in it.
Frank’s Card Corner exists to share that passion and experience with fellow collectors — whether you’re opening your first pack or refining a serious collection. My goal is to help collectors learn, appreciate the history, and most importantly, enjoy the hobby the way it was meant to be enjoyed. For fun!
