The answer is Frank Robinson
Frank Robinson made baseball history by becoming the only player ever to win Rookie of the Year in one league and later earn the Most Valuable Player Award in the other.
He debuted with the Cincinnati Reds in 1956 and immediately made an impact, winning the National League Rookie of the Year Award after hitting .290 with 38 home runs and 83 RBIs.
A decade later, Robinson was traded to the Baltimore Orioles in one of the most lopsided deals in baseball history. In his first season with Baltimore in 1966, he delivered one of the greatest offensive performances ever, winning the American League Triple Crown by leading the league in:
